How it all started...

Why should you participate?
Our Purpose

Tell me... Do you love dancing Forró 💛 …but feel like something in your experience could be better?

Maybe it's technique. Maybe it's something that happens at socials or parties... You're not alone.

If you've ever felt unsure, stuck, or just not 100% confident on the dance floor... This is for you!

Over a year ago I had to pause my classes in Berlin... But I wanted to stay connected with the students.

So I secretly launched a test platform with forums and classes – just for them.

Truth is, I had recorded lessons since 2023, but was still unsure if that was all what I wanted to offer…

Because here's the thing: Technique isn't always the answer.
Not every issue in dance-life is solved with steps.

After lots of trial, research, and real-life experience… I finally created something I truly believe in:

Not just an online course... but a real, interactive, GLOBAL COMMUNITY for dancers like us.

A safe space to grow. To ask questions, share stories, and connect around our forró lives. And I'll be sharing my knowledge about various aspects of dancing, beyond technique.

And the Dance Lessons will be there too – only completely optional (separate access - details below).

If it speaks to you, join now a FREE 7-DAYS TRIAL - then only pay if you are convinced it's valuable to you. Also, please share it 🙏 so more forró friends can join this journey too!

Learning forró can completely change your life
- it changed mine.

If we haven't met yet, it's about time - Hi, my name's Matheus 👋

I'm here to bring the magic of Forró to you — no matter where you are!

I started dancing forró in 2012, teaching in 2016, internationally in 2018, my own studio (Berlin) in 2022.

Back when I was learning my first steps in BH-Brazil, I remember how much struggle I had to learn each simple move. I mean it and I have videos to prove 😂

Still, I was amazed by how much joy one could have learning it in exchange with people in the same vibe. Bad thing I had to commute for so long to get to the school...

Until they finally opened one school near me! It got way easier to go to classes, but... They took place only once a week, and eventually I would miss a class for whatever reason, resulting in 14 days gap between 2 classes, and me forgetting things...

By that time, I wished I had a better solution to learn and to stay connected with other "learning-active forrozeiros"...

Only 2 years later my life context changed, and I was able to commute more to classes, which started a virtuous cycle:

I was dancing better, thus feeling better dancing,
going out (& travelling) more to dance, and meeting more fellow dancers who eventually became close friends!

I Learn Online Too!

After the begin of that virtuous cycle, I never stopped dancing. Eventually I actually started teaching! But back then, still lacking some important dance knowledge & skills...

The pandemic hits in 2020. Some top-level ballroom dancers started online courses. I took many of them with the main goal of improving my teaching skills. But I ended up achieving more than that...

I was learning fundamentals of dance, useful exercises, and much more that led me to improve my dance without a partner and without leaving home!

Everything while having fun, connected to a group of dancers in the same learning vibe.

Next time I went dancing, I could notice my improvement and it felt awesome. That was the begin of a new virtuos cycle, again considerably changing my life for better.

Sounds interesting? - Then good news: in the Forró Community we have (optional) courses for dancers with or without a partner and for all levels!
